Malaysian Medical Doctor Warns Of Imminent Covid Wave In December 2021

According to Astro Awani’s reports, Malaysia’s battle against Covid-19 is far from over. In addition to the 5,000+ cases reported on a daily basis, a new wave of the virus is expected as the year end approaches.

Dr. Azfar Kamal of Sungai Buloh Hospital warned on Twitter yesterday (Nov 16) that a spike of cases might occur in the next two weeks.

In addition to urging the public to continue maintaining the SOPs, he detailed how wards have been inundated with category 4 and 5 patients.

The number of positive cases, which had drastically decreased across the country, started to rise again last week after Diwali celebrations.
