Malaysia Amongst Leading Countries Of The World With Over 22 Million Of Adult Population Fully Vaccinated

As of yesterday, a total of 22,248,737 individuals, or 95% of Malaysia’s adult population, have received their COVID-19 vaccination.

According to statistics from the Health Ministry’s COVIDNOW site, 97.5 percent of adults, or 22,838,338 individuals, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Yesterday, a total of 131,240 vaccine doses were administered, including 37,689 who received second dose; 7,650 who received their first dose; and 85,901 who received booster doses, bringing the total doses administered under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 50,804,374.

For teenagers aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,442,373 individuals, or 77.6 percent, have received the full dose vaccine, while 86.6 percent, or 2,725,876 individuals, have received at least one dose.
